About
I help organisations solve difficult product problems.
I am a forward-looking, generalist product designer — lead UI and UX, with time spent as a creative director. My work sits where strategy, systems and delivery meet: the place where most enterprise products succeed or quietly stall.
Across Thoughtworks, Connatix and Halcyon Mobile I have designed platforms, directed brand and product design, and built teams. Alongside that, I design and ship my own products — Klearyon, SymBoolean and Legatus — which keeps me close to the whole arc: positioning, design, build, launch.
Leadership philosophy
A design leader’s output is the quality of decisions made when they are not in the room.
I lead through clarity: shared vocabulary, visible reasoning, and standards that people can apply without permission. Mentoring is not a side activity — it is how direction becomes durable.
Working principles
Strategy is only real when it changes the backlog
A strategy that cannot be traced into a delivery decision is a document, not a direction.
Systems before screens
Decide the model, the vocabulary and the tokens first. Screens then become consequences rather than debates.
Design with engineering, not for it
The best products I have worked on had no handover moment — only a shared, continuous conversation.
Calm interfaces respect expertise
Enterprise users are professionals. Reduce ceremony, remove noise, and let their competence show.
